28" Super Duplex Pipe Spools

RBV Energy were asked to design, source, manufacture and supply a series of 28” flanged pipe spools for a Bahrain client who was having problems with the existing GRP seawater pump discharge lines. Working closely with design consultants Genesis Oil & Gas, it was recommended that replacing the lightweight GRP Piping with heavier metal piping would eliminate the severe vibration that the platform experienced when the pumps discharged to sea. Material selection was Super Duplex given the corrosive environment and media passing through the spools.

The package included, pipe, elbows, flanges, pipe supports, structural steelwork, anti-vibration pads and full fabrication, NDE and hydrostatic testing.
